For someone who may not be looking forward to Christmas this year
There are many circumstances that can make Christmas feel like a particularly difficult time of the year. A person may have experienced bereavement, health issues, loss of a job, for example. Here’s some inspiration for messages you could send to someone who’s had a difficult year:
•    Sending lots of hugs your way and thinking of you, this Christmas.
•    I know Christmas will feel different for you this year, so just to say I’m thinking of you and sending love your way.
•    You’re in my thoughts this Christmas. Hope you can find some calm and peace, and that there are better days ahead.
•    I know this year has been challenging, and all I wanted to say is that I hope you have some time to rest and relax this Christmas.
•    Thinking of you and sending wishes for happier days ahead.
